Senate Judiciary Committee members heard testimony from law enforcement specialists concerning the terrorist threat to the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA. Witnesses discussed methods of handling threats, including tasking additional federal agents and Department of Defense personnel to counter-terrorist activities. Much of the testimony focused the use and misuse of this additional personnel. close
