At a second annual seminar for female summer interns, participants spoke about a variety of political and leadership issues. They spoke about the poor economic, social and cultural state of U.S. society and advocated various solutions: reducing the size of the federal government, encouraging people to assume more personal responsibility, maintaining a pro-life stance on abortion, making federal policies more pro-marriage and bridging the gender gap which Mr. Dole’s campaign faces. The group also honored Virginia Thomas, wife of Justice Clarence Thomas. close
