Administrator Carol Browner and Diana Neidle spoke about the importance of clean drinking water for U.S. citizens. In his remarks, President Bill Clinton emphasized that this legislation requires water systems to notify citizens yearly of the contaminants in their water and provides $10 billion in loans for communities to upgrade water treatment systems.
