Robert Moskin spoke about his book, Mr. Truman’s War: The Final Victories of World War Two and the Birth of the Postwar World, which focuses on the transition from World War Two to the Cold War, specifically from April 12, 1945, when Truman became president upon President Franklin Roosevelt’s death to September 2, 1945, when World War Two ended with the Japanese surrender.
