In the first segment, Charles Cook of the Cook Political Report talked about current political issues, especially the presidential race and how Bob Dole can overcome President Clinton’s lead and win. In the newspaper roundtable, Lynn Cutler, Democratic Political Consultant and Republican Pollster Ed Goeas discussed the recent Republican Convention, the upcoming Democratic Convention and the future prospects for the presidential race. In the final segment, Ken Silverstein, the co-author of Washington Babylon, which focuses on how both Republicans and Democrats have been coopted by wealthy individual and corporate interests. close
