Educators and Hispanic civil rights activists spoke about the status of civil rights for Hispanic-Americans. They focused on many issues, including the future of affirmative action and the English-only language movement, and how these could negatively impact Hispanic civil rights. They also discussed how Hispanic-Americans could support their cause in such issues and took questions from the audience. This was part of the National Puerto Rican Coalition’s annual conference. close
