After the National Anthem was performed by a rock group, children from the Museum of Children’s Art presented President Clinton with a sculpture. After introductions by California dignitaries, the president talked to supporters in Jack London Square about the accomplishments of his administration, urged the audience to support Democratic candidates and described his policies which will “build a bridge to the 21st century.” Signs at the front of the stage said, “Strong families, strong communities.” close
