Judge Reinhardt spoke about the impact of presidents on federal courts at all levels. He compared President Clinton’s apparent lack of interest in shaping the courts with the strong desires to do so of Presidents Reagan and Bush. He also defended the ideals of liberal jurisprudence which he warned were under strong attack. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience of law students. close
