On the first anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Accords in Paris, Ambassador Alkalaj spoke about the U.S. role in rebuilding Bosnian infrastructure and society. He contrasted the devastation of the more than three years of war with the peaceful conditions over the past year, but stressed that civilian reconstruction has only just begun. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience of students. close
