Dahr Jamail talked about The Will to Resist: Soldiers Who Refuse to Fight in Iraq and Afghanistan (Haymarket Books; July 1, 2009). The book is about the men and women in the U.S. military who are against continuing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Following his remarks he responded to audience members' questions.
This event was held in the Social Sciences Building of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Monday, November 16, 2009, 7:00 p.m. Alaska Time. His visit was sponsored by the Gene Sharp Lectureship on Nonviolent Action, Political Science Department/UAA and the UAA Campus Bookstore.
