Mr. Fallows presented the first of four lectures on the state of the U.S. news media at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. He talked about the principles in his book, Breaking the News, and how he is trying to implement them in his new position as editor of U.S. News. He focused both on the problems and opportunities within the journalism industry. After his remarks he took questions from the audience. close
