Current news events and political issues were examined through reviews of the morning newspapers; interviews with journalists, newsmakers and legislators; and viewer telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. Washington Journal originated from the Newseum at the Freedom Forum in Washington, DC. The museum features newspaper front pages from around the country, live television feeds from around the world, interactive exhibits, and memorial to heroic journalists. close
