President Bill Clinton discussed his desire to remain strong in foreign affairs as the line between foreign policy and domestic policy became blurred through modern technology and the Internet. The president said he would like to see a unified Europe that is at peace, strong and stable U.S.-Asian relations, continued leadership in world peace, more open and competitive international trading, increased international security measures, and an adaptable military support system. close
