After hearing from Mr. Jenkins and Senator Landrieu’s attorneys two days earlier, the committee met to discuss whether to further investigate Woody Jenkins' allegations of voter fraud in the Louisiana Senate election. They also debated whether there should be a limited investigation as the committee’s two specially appointed attorneys recommended, or whether there should be a broader investigation. Senator Landrieu defeated Mr. Jenkins by less than 6,000 votes. close
