The United States Holocaust Memorial Council hosted a ceremony to remember Holocaust victims and survivors as well as the soldiers who liberated them from German concentration camps in the closing months of World War II. Members of Congress participated in a candle lighting ceremony along with Holocaust survivors to remember the various groups which the Nazi regime persecuted. close
