Democratic Maryland Governor Parris Glendening delivered a speech at a conference on urban issues. He spoke about how urban problems are being addressed in Maryland, especially by state government through limiting urban sprawl and redeveloping older urban areas. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience. This was part of a symposium sponsored by the Center on Urban and Metropolitan Policy at Brookings. close
