Several journalists discussed whether people in their profession should be public personalities because of their reporting during a symposium that marked the 25th anniversary of the Watergate break-in. Two Washington Post journalists, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, wrote a book about the Watergate scandal which became a movie and ushered in a new era of celebrity journalists. Most of the panel suggested that TV helped create this celebrity. Some questions came from the audience. close
