As part of the Magic Bus Civil Rights Tour, this stop at the site of the Piney Woods School allowed Mr. Beady to talk about cultural diversity as a byproduct of the civil rights era. He spoke about the history of African-Americans and what is referred to as the Middle Passage, which is the era of slave trading. Mr. Beady also talked about the Piney Woods Country Life School and its history and goals. close
