Mark Rosentraub, Indiana University professor, talked about taxpayer supported stadiums for professional sports teams. He said that citizens and cities are being held hostage by sports franchise owners who threaten to move their teams to other cities if taxpayers don’t provide for new facilities. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Rosentraub answered questions from the audience. close
