Senate Governmental Affairs Committee members continued the investigation into campaign fund-raising abuses in the last election. They heard testimony from officials of the White House Communications Agency on who knew White House events were being taped and why they were not released to the committee earlier when first requested. This hearing was stopped because a senator objected to the committee meeting after two hours into the Senate session for the day. close
