Sec. of Defense for Special Ops) in congressional hearing today regarding use of Extortion 17, a Chinook helicopter instead of flight equipment specifically designed for high-risk missions. Extortion 17 crashed in August 2011, killing 30 Americans, including the SEALS responsible for Osama Bin Laden's death. He went on to lambaste Col. Brown (Army Mortuary) stating "I've never seen anything so disgusting as the mess, the misplacement, the mistreatment, the use of human remains as what took place in Arlington (cemetery)". The crash resulted in the largest casualty count of U.S. service people in any single mission in Afghanistan.
