    Tribute to Mike Connors

    Mike Connors, C-SPAN’s Bus Driver and family member, died Friday, February 12th, 2010. In 1993, he started as C-SPAN’s first bus driver and became an intergal part of the success of the Bus program. Mr. Connors worked at C-SPAN for 17 years.
    C-SPAN launched its Bus program as a way to bring the world of public affairs into schools and communities nationwide. Working with cable television partners across the nation, the two Buses have visited students, teachers, and citizens in all 50 states to discuss media, public affairs, and C-SPAN’s programming and free educational resources.
