Monday, Feb. 20: National Museum of African American History & Culture

8 pm ET - Re-air of American History TV's Feb. 19, 2017, program from inside the National Museum of African American History and Culture, including looks at exhibit galleries and artifacts. We spoke to museum specialist Mary Elliott and curator William Pretzer and heard from Judge Robert Wilkins, author of Long Road to Hard Truth: The 100-Year Mission to Create the National Museum of African American History & Culture.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 21: Japanese-American Internment

Tonight, we present programs about the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Feb. 19 marks the 75th anniversary of President Franklin Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066, which led to the forced relocation of Japanese Americans.
