This past year marked the centennial of John F. Kennedy's birth. Historians Edward Widmer of the Library of Congress and Fredrik Logevall of Harvard University reflect on the legacy of the nation's 35th president. Also, a tour of a Smithsonian American Art Museum exhibit looking at JFK's "Life in Photos" with noted photographer Lawrence Schiller.

C-SPAN Cities Tour programs on religion, including Roger Williams and the First Baptist Church in Providence, Rhode Island; Carmel Mission, built by the Franciscan Order in Spanish California, in Carmel, California; Moundville Archaeological Park, a Native American cultural center in Alabama; the Original Provo Meeting House, a Mormon civic and religious center in Utah; and America's First Shaker Settlement in Albany, New York for the Christian sect which promoted communal living and the equality of the sexes.
