We visit the American University classroom of professor Ibram Kendi who teaches a class about Malcolm X's views on Africa - particularly his efforts to encourage positive views of Africa among African Americans to develop self-esteem and combat racism.

Oral Histories: D-Day
Our series of interviews marking D-Day's 75th anniversary continues with World War II Army Nurse Corps veteran Opal Grapes. She describes providing medical care to American soldiers wounded on D-Day and how she kept her emotions under control when treating traumatic injuries. This is one of six interviews from the National World War II Museum collection.

The man known as Ike is being remembered this year as the nation commemorates the World War II battles of 75 years ago. In this program from the Kansas City Public Library, Louis Galambos -- editor of The Papers of Dwight David Eisenhower -- talks about the evolution of Ike's leadership style from a West Point cadet to president of the United States.
