Following WWII, Allied forces conducted a series of military tribunals in the city of Nuremberg, Germany. Between November 20, 1945 and October 1, 1946, members of the military, political, economic and judicial leadership of Nazi Germany were prosecuted for their participation in the Holocaust as well as other war crimes.
