Bell Ringer: Terrorism-Related Risks of Admitting Refugees

Description

Germany has let in over 40,000 Syrian refugees. Because of the EU's open border policy, these refugees are free to move across Europe. In 2016, terrorists posing as refugees bombed Brussels, Belgium. This sparked international fear and made Americans wonder whether it's worth the risk to admit Syrian refugees. These issues were debated throughout the presidential election and continue to spark controversy.
