Description

In 1848, the first woman's rights convention in the United States was held in Seneca Falls, NY. Organized by Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the convention adopted the Declaration of Sentiment and Grievances. The convention also introduced a resolution supporting women's right to vote.
