Constitution Clips: "Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings"

The Congressional Journal

George Barnum, historian for the Government Printing Office (GPO), talked about the history of the GPO and some of their historic printing jobs, including the 127 volume Official Records of the War of the Rebellion, and the 27 volume Warren Commission Report. Created in 1861 and located about six blocks from the capitol building, the United States Government Printing Office still prints the Congressional Record each day that the House and Senate are in session.
