White House and the Press

This clip addresses that the relationship between the White House and the press is essential.


Professor Kumar moderated a panel of White House correspondents and White House press secretaries discussing the dependent relationship between the press corps and presidents. They discussed how the relationship had changed over time as the news cycle changed, the audience fragmented, and the relationship became less cooperative and more adversarial.
