President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Judge Kavanugh is a former law clerk to Justice Kennedy. The judge’s wife, children and parents joined him at the White House for the public announcement.
