British Prime Minister Theresa May delivered a statement to reporters on the latest Brexit negotiations. Prime Minister May said she is “not prepared to delay Brexit any further than the 30th of June” and would work “night and day” to gain the support of members of Parliament in backing her deal. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister May announced that she had written a letter to European Union leaders seeking the brief delay until the end of June. The U.K. was scheduled to leave the European Union on March 29, 2019.
