The House passed S.557, the Civil Rights Restoration Act, restoring rights granted by the Education Act of 1972, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which were limited by the 1984 Supreme Court decision, "Grove City College v. Bell".
