The House passed H.R. 4481 Defense Savings Act to provide for the closing and realigning of certain military installations. Also under suspension of the rules the House passed the following bills: to amend H.R. 4861 State Veterans' Cemeteries and to amend H.R. 3361 Public Health Service Act to establish a National institute on deafness and other communication disorders.
