Under suspension of the rules the House passed several measures: H.R. 4741 Veterans Compensation Amendment, H.R. 4675 Drug Prevention Activities, H.R. 4676 Handicapped Child Care, H.R. 4574 Federal Employees Awards Programs, H.R. 4030 Wildlife Law amendments to strengthen certain fish and wildlife laws, H.R. 4208 to amend Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Authorization Act of 1972, to amend H.R. 4054 Inspector General Act of 1978, to amend H.R. 4640 Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, H.R. 3313 Southwestern Pennsylvania Heritage Preservation Commission, H.R. 1982 Establishment of Lewis and Clark National Historic Site in Montana, H.R. 3541 Redesignating Salinas National Monument in New Mexico, H.R. Creating a National Park at Natchez Mississippi, to amend H.R. 4694 Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act of 1930, to amend H.R. 4068 Archeological Resources Protection Act of 1979. The House also agreed to the Senate amendment to H.R. 3932, to amend the Presidential Transaction Act of 1963.
