House Session - September 7, 1988

The House agreed to the Glickman motion to table the Walker motion to discharge the Committee on Armed Services from the further consideration of H.R. 4264, National Defense Authorization Act for FY89. The House completed all general debate on H.R. 5210, to prevent the manufacturing, distribution, and use of illegal drugs. The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 4775, making appropriations for the Treasury Department, the United States Postal Service, the Executive Office of the President, and certain Independent Agencies, for FY89. The House agreed to H. Res. 529, in support of the restoration of democratic government in Burma.
