House Session - November 14, 1989

Under suspension of the rules the House passed several measures. Of special interest was H.R. 1602, the Trauma Care Systems Planning and Development Act to amend the Public Health Service Act to improve emergency medical services and trauma care. Also the House unanimously insisted on its amendments to S. 737, to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to acquire certain lands adjacent to the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.
