While attempting to conclude legislative activities the House passed numerous bills. S. 974 Nevada Wilderness Protection Act, H.R. 3402 Support For East European Democracy (Seed) Act, S. 737 Rocky Mountain Land Acquisition Act which authorizes Secretary of the Interior to acquire certain lands in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, H.R. 2748 Intelligence Authorization Act for FY90 which appropriates money for intelligence-related activities, H.R. 3670 Authorizing Funds for Expansion of Membership of Superior Court Of the District of Columbia, H.R. 972 Increasing Authority of Attorney General to settle claims resulting from law enforcement activities of the Department of Justice, H.R. 3671 Federal Aviation Act of 1958 amendments extending the Civil Penalty Assessment Demonstration Act, H.R. 3593 Hurricane Hugo Emergency Relief Act, H.R. 435 to Amend the Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965 to include Columbiana County, Ohio, as part of the Appalachian region. Also under suspension of the rules the House passed numerous measures. H.R. 1129 Agent Orange Settlements, H.R. 2581 Aviation research Grant Act, H.R. 94 to amend the Federal fire prevention and control act of 1974, H.R. 1216 Renewable energy and energy efficiency technology competitiveness Act, H.R. 422 to amend the Department of Transportation Act, H.R. 897 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration fleet Modernization Act, H.R. 2612 Providing Temporary Commissary Privileges for Panama Canal Commission employees.
