The House voted to suspend the rules and pass several amendments, including H.R. 4039, to amend the Public Health Service Act; H.R. 238, to amend the PHSA to establish a program for prevention of disabilities; H.R. 5112, to amend the PHSA to apply to home health care; H.R. 5113, to amend the PHSA to apply to certain injuries; H.R. 5146, to amend the PHSA to revise its program of organ transplatation; and H.R. 1677, to require the Federal Communications Commission to reinstate restrictions on advertising during children’s television. H.Res. 439, the rule under which H.R. 3950 was being considered, was passed.
