The House passed H.R. 3954 mandating the establishment of a Peace Corps memorial in the District of Columbia. It was made an order for the Chairman of the Budget Committee to take from the Speaker’s table H.Con.Res. 310. The House agreed to the Senate amendment to H.R. 5725, to extend the expiration date of the Defense Production Act of 1950.
