House Session - June 7, 1991

The House agreed to H.Res. 171, electing Representative Johnson of Texas to the Committee on Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs, and to the Committee on Small Business. The House passed H.R. 2521, making appropriations for the Department of Defense for the 1992 fiscal year, with amendments from Rep. Traficant that will require that none of the appropriated funds be used for the purchase or acquisition of items from a foreign country if the Secretary of Defense determines that a foreign country has violated trade agreements by discriminating against certain products produced in the United States.
