House Approves $1.2 Trillion Spending Bill
House Session - July 24, 1992

The House met to continue work on H.R. 4312 - the Voting Rights Improvement Act of 1992. With a vote of 237-135, the bill passed, which would include a 15 year extension of programs for bilingual assistance in voting and voter registration. The House then proceeded with a variety of special orders.
