Read GOP Bill to Raise the Debt Limit
House Session - September 29, 1993

House representatives met to consider a number of appropriations bills, including the $240 billion Defense Department Bill.
They also took up a resolution that would extend funding through October for the agencies that didn’t have government spending for Fiscal Year 1994 approved yet. Without that approval or a continuing resolution, those agencies would have to shut down. Following that, the members considered a FY '94 Foreign Assistance Bill. This session finished their legislative business for the day and ended with Special Orders.
