House Approves Rule for Foreign Aid Bills, 316-94
House Session - October 15, 1993

The U.S. House of Representatives met and continued debate on H.R.3167 a bill to extend unemployment compensation benefits. After votes on a number of amendments to the bill, the measure passed by a vote of 302 to 95. The House additionally passed an amendment to the 1954 National Wool Act, S.1548 which would reduce the subsidies received by wool and mohair producers used for marketing of their products. Following the conclusion of the days business the House adjourned until the following Monday.
