The House is expected to take up H.Con.Res. 290, the Budget Resolution for Fiscal Year 2001 approved by the Budget Committee last week, and is expected to be in session until late tonight. During the session the House chaplain designee withdrew his name from consideration and Speaker Hastert appointed a new chaplain.
