Senate Passes $1.9 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Bill, 50-49
House Session - May 28, 2010

The House completed a short-term extension of tax and jobless benefits, and delayed cuts to Medicare cuts to doctors. They also passed the fiscal year 2011 defense programs bill. An amendment to this measure included lifting a ban on gays and lesbians in the military once the military completes its study of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
