In a 230-195 vote, the House passed a $4.5 billion bill providing emergency spending for humanitarian aid and security at the U.S. southern border. Four Democrats voted against the measure, and three Republicans voted in favor. Members also approved a five-bill spending package, H.R. 3055, the Commerce, Justice, Science (1); Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration (2); Interior, Environment (3); Military Construction, Veterans Affairs (4); Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development (5) Appropriations Act for 2020.
