House Approves $1.2 Trillion Spending Bill
House Session - October 1, 2020

The House passed a $2.2 trillion COVID-19 relief bill, 214-207. Eighteen Democrats joined all Republicans in voting against the measure. Democrats brought the bill to the floor despite the lack of an agreement between Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) and Trump administration Treasury Secretary Mnuchin. The bill would next be sent to the Senate.
