The House passed a resolution to censure Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) for posting an animated video on social media depicting himself killing Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and attacking President Biden. The resolution allows Mr. Gosar to retain his House seat but removes him from his assignments on the Natural Resources and Oversight and Reform committees. Representatives Adam Kinzinger (IL) and Liz Cheney (WY) were the only Republicans to join all Democrats in voting for the measure. Representative Joyce (R-OH) voted "present."
