The House approved two measures. One reinstates for federal workers telework policies in effect before the COVID-19 pandemic. The other would end the COVID-19 pandemic national emergency declared by former President Donald Trump on March 13, 2020. The Biden administration announced that it plans to extend the emergency declaration until May 11, 2023. Lawmakers also voted to being debate on two bills. One would remove Representative Ilhan Omar (D0MN) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The other denounces socialism in all forms.
